Questions or something not working? Email support@stickermint.com with your store's .myshopify.com address and, if it's about a document, the invoice or order number. We reply within one business day.
Getting started
- Install Mint Invoices from the Shopify App Store. The app home shows a short setup checklist.
- Settings → Your business: enter your legal name, address and VAT or tax ID. Empty fields fall back to your store name and address in Shopify.
- Settings → Numbering and Design: choose the invoice prefix and digits, your logo, brand colour, paper size and document language. The preview on the right shows the result.
- Print: open an order, click Print, choose Mint Invoices and tick Invoice, Packing slip or (Pro) Credit notes. To print several orders, select up to 50 in the Orders list and use Print there.
- Documents lists every number issued. Search by invoice or order number, download a PDF again, email it (Pro) or export the register as CSV for your accountant.
Pro options
- Credit notes: print them from the order (Print → Mint Invoices → Credit notes), or switch on “Create a credit note automatically for every refund”. Each refund gets its own numbered credit note that refers to the invoice.
- Invoice emails: switch on “Email the invoice PDF to the customer when the order is paid”. The email comes from your store name and replies go to your business email. The Documents list shows whether each email was sent.
- Customer download: switch it on in Settings, then in Shopify go to Settings → Checkout → Customize, open the Order status page, click Add app block and choose Invoice download. Customers who are signed in to their account see a download button for their own order; others are asked to sign in.
Common questions
How are the totals calculated? They aren't recalculated: every amount comes from the order in Shopify, in the currency the customer paid. Items show their price and any item discount; order-wide discounts, shipping, duties, fees and each tax rate are listed below; the total is Shopify's. If an order ever contains an amount that the rows can't explain, the PDF shows it as a separate “Adjustment” line so the total still matches, and Documents marks that document — please tell us about it.
An order was refunded — why does the invoice still show the full amount? An invoice records the sale. Refunds are recorded with credit notes (Pro), and the invoice's payment section shows the amount refunded.
Can I change an invoice number? No. A number is given once and never changes or gets reused. You can raise the next number (for example to continue from a previous app) and change the prefix for future invoices in Settings → Numbering.
“Order not available”. Apps can read the last 60 days of orders, so documents for older orders can't be made. Numbers already issued stay in Documents and the CSV export.
Some characters print as “?”. The fonts cover Latin (with all European accents and Vietnamese), Greek and Cyrillic. Other scripts, such as Chinese, Japanese or Arabic, can't be printed yet.
Is this an e-invoicing system? No. Mint Invoices creates PDF documents. Where e-invoicing (for example XML through a government platform) is mandatory, it doesn't replace it. Please check your country's invoicing rules with your accountant.
Billing
Free includes 50 new invoices a month (reprints, packing slips and test orders don't count), unlimited packing slips, printing from orders one at a time or in bulk, gap-free numbering, the Classic template with your logo and colour, and all six label languages. Pro is billed through Shopify at $4.99/month after a 7-day free trial and adds unlimited invoices, credit notes, invoice emails, the customer download and the Modern and Compact templates. Cancel anytime from the app's Plans page or by uninstalling.
Privacy
See our privacy policy and security policy. In short: documents are made from Shopify's order data when you need them and not stored; we keep only the register of numbers, dates and totals — never customers' names, emails or addresses.
